Service Overview
Beginning April 1,2006, Multiband (NASDAQ: MBND) will be providing
upgraded television services to our property. All units will receive
the DirecTV
Total Choice with Local Channels package, consisting of
more than 155 channels, including all local channels. The new package
will be priced on a ‘bulk rate’ basis at $26.00 per
month, a discount of $6.99 from prior pricing for the same level
of service and a sharp discount of $18.99 from the retail price
of $44.99. In addition, all units will receive High Definition Broadcast
(HD) capability.
Receivers and Installations
Multiband will provide and install up to two standard receivers
free of charge in each unit. If you want more than two standard
receivers or if you want any of the non-standard receivers, such
as the DVR (‘Tivo’ type) or the HD receivers, please
contact Multiband directly for their most current equipment and
installation prices. *
Other DirecTV Charges
DirecTV will continue to charge a monthly surcharge of $4.99 for
delivering broadcasting to each additional receiver beyond the first
receiver.
Receiver Purchase Agreements
All DirecTV receivers are sold, regardless of vendor, subject to
a standard DirecTV 12 or 24 month contract. This assures DirecTV
that the buyer will activate and use the equipment for the contract
term. If you are unable to meet the commitment for any reason, you
can return the equipment to DirecTV to avoid the contract penalty.
HD Capability
To utilize the new HD capability, you will need an HD capable television
and an HD receiver. HD transmissions over local channels will be
available at no additional charge. Premium channel broadcasts in
HD, such as those with HBO, will be provided at no additional charge
above and beyond the cost of the premium channel package. DirecTV
reserves the right to modify the pricing on HD broadcasts in the
future.
Important Customer Contact Information
If you are a new customer, you need to contact Multiband at (866)
577-MBND (6263) to be set up into our ‘bulk rate’ system
and to arrange for the initial installation.
If you are an existing customer at Randolph Place, please contact
Multiband at the above number for all installation, service and
maintenance issues. If you only need to upgrade broadcast programming,
such as to add HBO, Sports Packages, order a Pay Per View, etc.,
you can skip the Multiband step and call DirecTV directly at (800)
531-5000.

* Maximum Pricing is established by Contract subject to reductions,
discounts and rebates offered by Multiband from time to time.
· Receivers: Standard $49.95; Standard DVRs $99; HD Receivers
$199; HD DVRs $499.
· Installations: Additional Standard Receivers - $29.95.
If more than one is installed per visit, $9.95 for each additional
standard receiver installed at the same time. All other receivers
- $49.95. If more than one of such type is installed in a given
visit, $29.95 for each additional such receiver installed at the
same time.
Although receivers can be purchased from various retail outlets,
we cannot assure you that you can install such receivers successfully
without assistance. The internal wiring in your unit may cause difficulties.
Most DVRs will require additional equipment to interface with our
system. And, all HD receivers and HD DVRs require additional equipment
and special adjustments at the main distribution facility in the
building to operate properly.
